Confused. What am I going to do now.
My HK visa is being screwed up, so I didn’t went HK for my internship.
Now working part time for ex-boss, AC.
CY is trying to link me up in China for internship.
But when I was talking to daddy and mummy. It seem that they wanted me to stay back instead.
Honesty, I didn’t even think of having my internship in spore since I was planning to go away for 2 years.
Hmmm… god tell me. What should I do now.
Good pay but have to stay back in Singapore or Low salary as internship but in China.
It seem so hard for me to decide now.

5 am now in the morning. I cant get to sleep. Dont ask me why... Just took another cold bath.
Is the weather too hot or am i too excited to go back spore. Maybe it all add together, that why i'm not sleepy at all.
Nothing to do now, so decided to spend my time watching movie and shows to kill the time. Cant wait for friday to arrived...

The worst nightmare i've now are all cleared. Finished all my presentation and now i'm free like a bird. After so many weeks of hardwork, all 7 modules had been cleared. I'm so happy.
Next thing to do is some shopping in hamburg and to pack my luggage and clean up the room to return the dorm keys.

Went to DB bank last friday. What happen to me! I dont know if i should cry or laugh. I received another bank card last week, so i took the card to clarify with the bank. I didnt apply for any card but yet they send me a new card. So what should i do with the card. When i went to the bank to clarify, the bank teller took away my old card and say they are replacing with the new one. So i should use my new card from now. The lady took the card and bend into half in front of me. Thinking that it was the bank that did that, so i'm okie. But when i try to use the new card to get a new pin code. The machine send out a message saying i cant withdraw any money. Immediately i went to the counter again to check. The lady was puzzled as well, so she approach another banker. Then she came back and tell me that the new card is to print only my monthly statement, i should use my old card to withdraw money. I was like WHAT.... then the lady ask me again where is my old card. I told me you just took my card and bend into half. She was like ............ OMG. She was feeling kind of sorry and say they will send me another card again within a week. I told her i'm leaving germany for a year, so how to send me the card. I was like going crazy at that point of time.
So now, i have only a card that can print only my monthly statement which is useless to me. I can only go directly to the bank to withdraw money. Haiz... what kind of service is this. Giving me nothing but problems.

I'm so tired, both my legs is aching now. The next few days will be worse. Woke up so earlier in the morning to go to the bank to settle some issue. Have to go again next week to change the address.
Thursday still have to go auslander. Ah.... i'm too tired to walk all the way there.
Counting down to my return back home. Missing everyong back home now. As the dates is drawing near, i'm getting so much more excited.

Just finish cooking my lunch for the next few days. Yummy, can help trying a little 1st.
A lot of ingredient and a little of vermicelli.
I add: Paprika, corn, luncheon meat, few nuggets, mu er, mushroom….
This two weeks will be super busy with project submission and preparation of presentation.
By preparing my meals beforehand will be saving me lots of time.

Whats wrong with me today. Had been feeling cold since morning. Cold feet and cold hand. I even had to shut the window tight so no wind comes in. Weather was quite okie today, but still i've been feel really cold and bloated stomach.

Am I working too fast for all the project, those who work with me are all telling me that I’m too scary. Giving them pressure when working with me. Hahaha…. I think it is good. If no one started the work then everything will be behind schedule. I admite I’m a bit too fast in the paced. But at least work is being produce, I wont mind about quality in the beginning, at least there is work produce to show and discuss with the prof. during the initial consultation and then we will find the correct path to go into producing quality work.

Had been looking for property agency in HK, received some feedback. Will ask them to help me search for flat in HK. I like their working attitude. Their respond was really fast. Cool… Had consider sharing flat but still, when I saw the pictures they posted, I was like… noooo.. Wanted to live alone. So I am consider have a small studio for myself. Will be having friends coming over to visit me. Don’t mind the furnishing as long as they is basic pantry and kitchen and my own bedroom. Hahaha.. looking forward to it already. Ah lian is coming to HK to spend x’mas with me, (hopefully she can save up by then) and will be asking daddy and mummy to come over to HK after CNY. So I need to save up as well.

Next month, this date, I will be in spore already. Jia you for all the submission. Chiong all the way till Early july and home sweet home.

Finally been to Insel Pool

Finally i went to insel pool. It was a famous pool in this region of germany. After visiting the prokect site, we (5 girls in total) decide to head for the beacj to have a relaxing evening. The sun now set at only 10pm so we had a wonderful time there. Crazy i would say, but really enjoyable. Wanted to go back to the beach again after the eam period.

Received a call from CY just now. Hahaha... was so happy and excited to hear his voice. Had email him days before and he didnt send back a mail. Instead he call directly from singapore. Hmmm... rich guy lar. Made him promised me that he will meet up with me when i'm back in singapore.

Big mess in my room

Now, my room was in super big mess. Was rushing out this coming thursday presentation. So i made a mess of my room. Hehehe.... drawing, books, notes.... etc was all over the place. After this round of presentation, had to tidy my room and put everything in place liao.
Neck aching again. Been sitting in front of my laptop for hours and last weeks. Neck problem is coming back again. Gosh..... 40 over more days to go and i will be free.

I'm so tired. Have been facing the laptop since morning. My whole weekend include monday which is a public holiday will be the same as usual. Facing laptop whole day.

Still have 40++ more days countdown to go back spore. Was telling mama that i wanna write down a list of food i wanna eat when i get back. Hahaha... sure gain weight again lar.

Finally got a reply back from ISO. Super bad news for me.

"Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. We are looking at our resources at the moment and I will get back to you mid of next year."

This is the stupidest reply i got from them. Suddenly my heart drop from heaven to hell. What the F...? During the interview and emails, everything was going on smoothly and now suddenly they went MIA and when i manage to get hold of them. This is the results. Gosh... Next year, are you guys joking with me. Why would i want to have my intern next year. Irresponsible ISO, ISO sucks now....

Without further ado, i quickly done a short video clip and send it to AL. The other lighting company in HK who was fine with my internship. Hopefully, everything can still be save. Praying real hard for their reply. Dont play a fool with me, please. I cant take such "jokes" anymore.

Behaving like mama liao

Hahaha... i wan behaving like mama liao. I changed hte furniture layout in my room earlier. I was kind of sick having the same layout so i started moving the furniture every where. Hahahaha....

Bought 3 bottles of alcohol 4.5%Vol from denmark last week. And now i'm getting myself drunk. Just feel like drinking so i drank one bottle. Was still very much awake, wanted to do some assignment before resting. Work hard......

Things wasnt going on here very well for me. Kind of disappointed in myself.
1st semester was still going on well, but to the 2nd semester i find myself more and more disappointed in myself. I was asking myself wasnt i working hard enough.

PT. Rohde commented that i was speaking too fast for my presentation and maybe i wasnt native speaker so he find it hard to hear clearly. I should keep to the time slot given. I was kind of having a hard knock on my head. I took up this elective because i wanted to improve my PT. I should cut down on having chinese conversation with the chinese grp in class. So now on, i'm forcing myself to read magazine article loud and clear before i go to bed every night. I make sure i pronoun the words properly, i wanted to improve my PT skills very much.

Internship - the HK company just disappear like this. For the one whole week, i had not receive any email or news from them. Kind of worried but well i got backup plan. There are two HK company i'm talking to. Althot i wanted to go ISO very much but the other company is still fine for me as well. Please reply me ISO, i'm waiting for your email.

First bad experience in Europe

Back to Wismar again. As usual after traveling, tired is the only word to describe.
Copenhagen, a very windy and historical city. Five days, three nights.. more than enough to explore the whole city. We even have a day free to travel to Sweden, Malmo.

Had my first bad experience in Europe.
Meet some cheaters when we were touring ard Copenhagen. When rita and I were walking to the concert hall, we meet a guy who claim he was from Greece and wanted us to help him take pictures. Ok, we help him take but then, he started to lurk us into a small road to take photos of a stupid bridge. I was quite puzzle of who wanted to take the infamous bridge. I had my concern so I didn’t follow I only stay outside near the junction. Then suddenly, two guys appeared from nowhere and show us their identity, claiming they were policeman and want to check our passport. They say that we cannot take photos of the bridge. Ha… liar… I got a shocked somehow as I didn’t bring my passport to Denmark. I was looking hard at his identity, somehow it looked fake to me. Then we both quickly walk away and say no to them. Seeing we were walking away quickly, the three of them didn’t give chase, instead they walk in different directions and cross the street and disappear very fast. OMG… how dangerous could that be.

Just now, when we were on our way back, I received an sms from rosy and heng. Rosy’s wallet was stolen and their train and ship tickets was gone as well. Gosh.. they had to buy new tickets and really expensive one to come back. Haiz… too many lesson learnt this time round. Had to be more alert when traveling in europ e or even anywhere.

Came back on friday late night, saturday and sunday got nathan's class. Gosh, finally i can have a whole day break at home. Clearing my email, work and of course preparing for copenhagen this coming thursday.

Hahaha... i've gone crazy traveling liao.
Still planning for france, london, prag and warsaw. Where can i find the heavenly drop down time for all these.
Going back to spore on the 9th july then in a month time flying to HK again.
Got the email back frm HK side, they will review my request on higher salary again, Hopefully it works. I was telling them i'm planning to work in Hk for the next couple of years. In fact, i was not lying. I really had the intention to work there as i find great potential in the market there.

Attended Nathan's class for two days. Learn a lot of things. Super! had a short presentation for our grp work. In fact, i would say he only pin-point our grp down to the grd as we are the first to present, and we took too long to present. He had to catch a train so the grp behind us were going real fast in their presentation. It is quite upset that he was really very very serious in commenting, but when i look at it in another way. I kind of like and salute him. Even thot he made negative and strong comments about our design and presentation skills.
He really made me reflect myself and so far, non of the prof commented like this before. He really put in his heart to teach. I gain a lot from him and now i know how i can made myself better.

Adventurous and tiring italy trip

Finally, finally, finally.. i'm back in germany. Now then i find germany so lovely.
Hahaha...

I was suppose to be back in germany in wednesday, but due to the volcano erruption all flight was cancelled. Thanks god, managed to grab today flight again and rush back to sweet germany.
When the announcement of the flight was cancelled, i was so shocked and a grp of us (4 girls traveling in italy) were thinking of all the possible ways to come back germany. Train, mitfahren, bus...

3 days in milano, 2 days in venice and 2 days in florence.. additional 1/2 day in pisa, 1/2 day in bolgano and additional one more day in milano... i'm so tired already.

This trip totally drained me dry.. in term of stamina and money..
Gosh... coming thursday i'm still going to copenhagen...

Nervous, Panicking, Worried... going for my interview on coming Monday with Nelson. He was the design director of IS in HK. I cant find any details or information about him at all. People always say: 知己知彼，百战百胜. But now i know nuts about this director. Was so nervous. I find myself so silly. I was trying out all the formal i had so as to prepare myself the best when meeting up with him.
Good luck to me....
Was packing my bagpack to go frankfurt and milan tomorrow. I cant bring heavy and bulky bag as i'm taking budget flight so a lot of restriction.
This few months is going to be real packed and busy for me. Hardly had more time to think of anything else.

Back from late night dinner

Almost 1am in the morning, just came back from my late night dinner at rita's place. !st time having dinner at her place. Sirko cooked dinner and we were all eating in Tobi's room. Nice dinner, pasta with cheese. Yummy! After the delicious dinner we were playing some board games and chatting about different countries languages and cultures. Real fun talking with them.
After a nice shower, i was sneezing non-stop as usual. Since winter is already history, i had been sneezing for quite a while. No flu and no cold. Just sneezing throughout.

Baby bunbun

Was talking to sis and mum just now. I saw baby bunbun playing with mummy. He was smiling so happily at me. My whole heart melted already. Mummy told me that bunbun was very greedy. He loves to eat, like a big bin. Hahaha… missed everyone back home so much.

My 1st life sketch lesson

Attended my 1st life sketches lesson. Actually it was a elective class but out of fun, i went to the class. Hmmm... how to describe my 1st class lesson...
Initially, i did it out of pure fun but... the moment i step into the class, i was like... surprise, shocked, stunned..
There was a ready nude model posing in the center of the class when i stepped in. I put down my things and started sketching. For the 1st few minutes, i really didnt know how to start my first point. Finally i settled my mood and focused on the sketches.
4 pose in an hour. Cool but tiring for the model. I showed mum my sketches, hehehe.. she say my sketches was so so... i think so too. Must pratice more then..

Was now using my laptop in the dining room in my dorm . For the 1st time, I actually move my laptop to the dining room. Just left the room to Rita, guess she needs some time to cool down. Had a very late lunch, halfway, she started crying. I got a shocked. I didn’t know what was the reason? She just broke down when using her laptop.

I was busy attending most of the 1st introduction class last week. Now, I had finally decided what I’m taking and what I’m giving up. So mostly are all settle.
I was researching on the air tickets back to Spore in August. OMG! SIA is so bloody money sucker. Only SIA had such high high high costs. Two way tickets cost nearly 1500euro. Is the seat made of gold or what. And I still need to travel to Frankfurt to take the flight. Haiz… still have to check out a few more agency and airlines then.

Talking to mama

Just finished my talk to mama. We chat and laugh abt a lot of things.
Mama was asking me to inform her about the date i'm returning to Spore. Grandma said she wants to know and will also be cuming to pick me up at the airport. Grandma want to attend bunbun 1st year old birthday party also. So it means she will be travel to spore for 2 times in May and July. I was laughing and telling mama to ask jie to bring backward bunbun birthday party to july than i will surely drop off the idea of backpacking for a month and return to spore earlier in july.
Bad naughty mama ask me to wait long long, where got birthday bring backward one. So sad...
Outside is snowing again. This time round, the snow willlast quite long. So tomorrow the road will be covered in white again. Before i really witness heavy snow, i was really looking so forward and excited to be playing with a pool of white snow. But now, having experience snow storm for the whole of almost 4 months, i really had more than enough. Snow is nothing but cold cold cold to me.... Nothing to expect from already.

Tired. Slept till almost 2pm today. Guess I was too tired.

Done up my time schedule for my 2nd semester. I have 4 compulsory courses and I intend to take only 3 elective. In total 7 courses is already too much. For the schedule I had in this semester, I will be spending 4 weeks for excursion and the course will end in beginning of July. Which means, only 4 months of working period. Hmm… I will be really very busy and tense up.

Just talk to mama and papa online. Don’t know why, today mama told me to return to Spore to work after my study. And also to get myself a boyfren and settle down. So suddenly talk to me about all these. Well, I didn’t thot much about all these but for sure I had no intention of staying in Europe after in study. Europe is not the countries I wanted to stay for long.

My hand is aching

My hand is aching, now i can hardly use any strength. Had my 1st badminton and table tennis session. 3 hours of exercise, enough for the day. Didn’t play table tennis before but today my fren actually taught me the basic skills for the game. And clever me can play very well wor. Ed purposely hit the ball left and right for me to run. Same as Jimmy.. grhh... They keep saying i was lazy to run and stand there to hit the ball... I wasnt lor... poor me.

Heavy dinner again. Since I came back from my holiday, I had been having really heavy meals every day. My room was also very crowded. Most of the Chinese just love coming to my room to chat or hang around. Everyone noticed the family card I placed on the table. They were all praising or rather admiring at mini bunbun. He was simply too cute for their eyes. Hahahaha………

Bad weather... storm in germany

Weather was going to be very bad for the next few days. Only a couple days of sunshine and now it is taking away from us. From the german news, we were encourage to keep at least a week food storage at home. Essen is down with storm, (PS: luckily i was already back in wismar, i was in essen last week for a couple of days), Frankfurt will be encountering storm as well. Now, it was very very windy outside as well. Snow is gone but wind is here. Still so cold...

Was out till midnight last night. Most of the chinese student went to Panda for Jo's farewell dinner. He had completed his exchange student program and is heading back to china now. Guess he should be on the plane right now. 1st time at Panda. Food was just okie but the atmosphere was bingo. Total 10 people including myself went. It was really nice to use chinese to chat with everyone. I like it...

End of Chinese New Year

Today was a really busy day for me. Woke up pretty late, at about 11am. Went to the Altstad to catch my 2nd doner in germany. This time round taste better than the previous one. Nice! After that we went to netto dicount to shop for groceries. Came back to cook dinner. Had my first really crowded dinner session. It was a gathering dinner between the senior and junior batch. About 20 over asian students were squeezing in Paula and Tae place. No place to sit so everyone was eating dinner standing. After the dinner, everyone went studio. 1st time again, night out party. THis time is a real party. We on the speaker to the loudest and blast the whole building. Beer, wine, snacks! I had a bottle of grapefruit beer. Taste nice.
Some of us didnt stay till quite late. We left about 1am and all the chinese came over to my place. We were all more interested in making TangYuan as it was the end of the Chinese New Year. 2 indonesian, 1 taiwanese, 1 malaysian, 3 china and of course me, the only singaporean. My place suddenly become so crowded. My first time making Tang Yuan. Turn out to be rather a good success even thot we all messed up the kitchen. Nice meal...

Crowded at my room. All the senior are back for their 3rd semester final presentation. Both Rita and Jimmy had been staying in my room since last weekend. They will be staying till early march. Cool. I was still having my winter vacation. School term will only start in early March.

The weather was unusual funny this winter. It was still snowing till now. Normalli I heard from the local german, it will not snow so much and the weather will be sunny as in from end of February. But now it is still snowing heavily outside. Cold…..

Just got my fren in taiwan to order a sleeping bag for me and bring to germany. Yippy, finally have a small and nice sleeping bag for my CS liao. Will be needing it for my traveling in april and may. Make thigns more easier for me.
Cool.. 11euro for a new sleeping bag. So cheap, cheaper than what i saw around in germany. The cheapest i got is 32euro in germany. Yippy....

Just finished my lunch cum dinner. This time round, i've cooked sardine. Yummy!
1st trail - very successful.

Was talking to bunbun on skype just now. As usual, he looks blur blur de. Heard he got a flu, poor bunbun. I was comparing my apple cheeks to his. My face was like two times bigger than before. OMG! i've gain so much weight. Luckily there is no weighing machine here if not i sure die. Hehehe... even mummy and daddy was also laughing at my burger face now. My face was like so round...
Manage to squeeze out reason of my gaining weight. Definitely becoz of my busy time schedule. Winter time now so i didnt go out for a walk or so. Everyday i just sit in front of my laptop to rush out my submission after meal. Thats why all the fat still remains inside me. Gosh... i cant go back spore in this kind of round face de lar. Everybody sure laugh at me de. Once winter is over, the weather is better sure have to go outside for jogging session. Anyway, i've stopped jogging for so ling liao. It is time i go back to my exercising habit.

Finally, i'm starting my one month winter holiday. Schedule all plan. This coming friday, i'll be flying to Switzerland and travel all the way back to Wismar. This time it will be a much longer trip. Planning to go on 20++ days schedule. Hmm... so now starting to search for my couch and places of interest i wanna go.

I am not happy at all...
Everything added up is beyond what i can accept. Is my expectation to high for others and myself? Things did not turn out the way it should be...
Maybe i should lower down my expectation after all, to make myself be happier and more at ease.

Disappointed

Just came back from my 2 presentation. I did well for lighting design but was very disappointed at my 2nd presentation, Technical English.
I was being commented that i have weird speaking accent and i speak too fast. I was like.. what. I spoke slowly throughout my technical english presentation and i was not speaking from the screen. I knew the mark straight after the presentation. I was graded 2, which i was really very very disappoint. 1 = best and 4 = fail.
There were 2 lecturers grading us.
One of them commented that she had teaches student from China, but me as a chinese student have very different accent from her china students. I was like so so so angry.. how can she compared with the china student. I believe i have better pronunciation than the china students.
Back in class, they were discussing about the people who had done the presentation. When i told them how i was being commented. They were like shocked, to them my accent was good and they all understand what i say.
Till now, i was still pretty much upset about the comments she gave.

I saw cutey bunbun on skype just now. Havnt seen him for week i think. He is so hyper active now. He is really the laugher and center attraction of the NG and LIM family now.
His gorgeous eyes was so big and shiny. He was looking in the camera and smiling at me. I was totally captivated by bunbun liao.

Hmm... counting down to another six more month plus then i csn hug and kiss bunbun liao.

Crucial Week...

Wednesday - Project Design 1 final presentation and document hand-in
Friday - Lighting Science Exam

For my monday presentation, all powerpoint are done but i still need to rehearse thru my 'script'. Getting bit of sore throat and flu still. Hopefully this week will go on very smoothly for me.

Damn it, now regretting going on the trip with you to Switzerland and round Germany. Having our final submission next week and yet you are still looking at the itinerary for the trip. I've to do all the work alone. Grh...

Is the trip more important than our submission! Gosh.. i didnt have any problem arranging and deciding my itinerary when i went backpacking during xmas time. It is so hard to travel even with just a fren. Just the two of us and yet you can keep on vetting me with all these.

I’m so full. 9pm now, just came back from school and I cooked myself a very nice dinner. Mee Huan Kueh. Lot of ingredient. I’ve put mushroom, black fungus, vegetables and a drumstick. I’m so full now. Gonna work till late again tonight.

Felt like I’m put on the altar today. Had 3 presentations in a row. Gosh.. kind of nervous? No way! In fact I felt I did greatly for the presentation. Initially, our group was the last group to present for the February conference to Pennstate. But earlier, the prof said he change his mind. This made my group stunned. Now, we became the 1st group to present.

Midnight Birthday Party..

Tired..... had a midnight birthday celebration for Andres. Most of the class went over to haus 25. We planned a midnite surprise party.
At 11.45pm, we all crowded at andres's room. We were all so noisy singing birthday song and cracking jokes. Had such big fun.
The celebration end at 3.30am and we were all so tired. But had such great fun.

2 down... hahaha.... completed my Arch Management and Light.Color.Material final presentation this week. Now, i'm still left with 5 more presentation and 1 more exam to conquer this month. Cool... quite satisfied with the results so far. Grade is not an issue to me, process and understanding means more to me.

Just came back from my 1st subway meal since i came over to Germany. Damn expensive, one full meal of 30cm subway cost 7.99euro. And i'm sharing the meal with a fren. Expensive but at least i can pour out my sorrow to the group. I had enough since tuesday. All about Anja, this demoralizing german girl. Yucks...

On tuesday, she was skyping with me. She was so bloody hell out of her mind. 5 of us were grping for LCM project and i was the last one to edit and make sure the final printed out version was complete. So after checking, i send out to the other 4 member and ask for final comments with the version before i send for printing. I didnt send to her alone and she replied me with a nasty comments. "Why? why am i always the one doing all the work and checking!" I was like... what... i was thinking that did i do that piss her off. How cum her attitude is so bad. Okie, i know everyone was really stress this month becoz there was so many presentation and submission but still.... control your own temper. I had to explain nicely to her that my intention was to do a final check with everyone and making sure everyone agreed on this printout. I dun see anything wrong with it.

Finally she calm down and goes on asking me how was my grp preparation with AM case studies report. Well, i answered that my group was going on fine. Now paula was doing the final adding in. So what wrong with that again. She then replied me :you ahould not be so pround of your work. It's not challenging at all to work with paula. Your design are just piece of art." I was really very angry with her then. What kind of attitude is she giving me? You ask me about my other grp progress and yet you are making so irritating comments about my grp work. Who the fucking hell are you to comments on me like this. Everyone came from different culture and backgroup. So what the problem you are having.

Grhh... this morning when i step into the lecture room. She came and sat beside me. 1st time in the morning, when my mood was really good. I was like OMG. Again, she started telling me that andres was mad at her. Andres was shouting at her on skype last night regarding our project. I was like.. what... we are a team in this project how cum i dun know that there is problem going on in our grp. Ok.. i was listening to her pouring out her sorrow. Gosh... after breaktime, she came to me again and saying that she was very upset becoz, andres was talking behind her back with max and mus. I was like what actually really happen. I dont know about the argument and can i not get involved in it. I'm simply not that interested to know. She keep on saying that she done nothing wrong and why is andres getting mad at her for. Hmmm... when i came to know the whole story, i was like... my mind's vein was totally unblocked. Aso.... that how the whole things went. Hai... cant we all make things simplify. Anywat, simplicity was the best.

I keep avoiding Anja since lunch. I cant stand her complaining to her the whole morning. I just wanted a more peaceful day. I guess i did it pretty obvious to her that keep her mouth shut. So after the lesson, the grp of us... the gossiper we went to Subway. We were all commenting about her behaviour. It seem that everyone in the class was having problems with her. I skype her conversation about.. not challenging... proud.. a piece of art... to paula, for her viewing as we were a team for the main prsentation... same thinking as i did... she was really angry with anja's attitude as well. We were all talking behind her back this time round. What problems does she have. She is behaving like a kiddo. So negative thinking, and it is stressing everyone out. Everyone got submission to do and why is she making a big issue out of it!
Learn how to control your temper and attitude well.
The final conclusion we all agreed on: next semester we are all not going to having any project grouping with her... No Anja no stress...

How cum I can multi-task a couple of things in the same time and yet you are having such difficulty. I have done most of the work and yet you keep on dragging the final slides. Just a few of it, is it so difficult. Haizz… guess I have to get used to their slow working pace.
Everytime…. Keeping skyping to ask stupid question. Simple.. just follow the prof’s powerpoint guideline lar…

Weather outside is terribly cold but I'm warm inside my heart. Just received mail back from CY, i wrote him a one sentence email and he reply me with a whole lot of passage.
Seem like he is doing quite well back in spore, everything is going on quite smoothly. Talked to him abt my intern and he actualli got me hooked up with a couple of choices. I guess i have no more worries about my intern whereabout. Either in europe or asia, i've got my backup plan done.
Weather is really very terrible now. Snowstorm! It just cant stop snowing and to make things even more horrible. Strong and creepy winds were added. Gosh... i wish this winter will be ending soon...

Stressful Month

My Birthday Surprise

Received a great surprise when i came back to Germany. There was a large envelope being stuck inside my letterbox. I was like OMG...
When i came back and open the big envelope. I was so so so happy. Almost cried out. The best birthday present i ever had. My sis made a big photo card of everybody in the family and post to me. I love it so much. Now, i've put it on my table so that i can see it everyday. I missed everybody at home. Countdown to another 7 more month then i can go back to Spore for holiday.
Not only my family, both Janice and Lian also send me gift. I didnt expect to collect present one after another. I love you gals so much back home.

Day 9 and Day 10 X’mas Delight – Budapest in Hungary

Budapest, my last stop. Was already rather tired but still full of excitement to discover this beautiful city. I had read that Budapest was regarded as one of the most beautiful city in Europe. Just awaiting me to discovered. My hostel was totally screwed up. Had such a hard time finding in the end I gave up.
I was totally captivated by this beautiful city. I totally agreed that this is a really beautiful country. Had travel to quite a few countries before, I must really give my thumb up for this city. As I walked thru Széchenyi Chain Bridge to get up to Castle District and Fishermen’s Bastion. From high up, I could see the whole of Danube river in Hungary. As night was falling, the lighted up city was awesome. I told myself I’m going to bring daddy and mummy back to Budapest. It was really worth seeing. Altot the climb up to the castle was long and tiring, but it was all worth it.
My 1st time to the casino in Budapest. I did something naughty. Instead of carrying my backpack all the way, my fren told me to sign in to a casino and left my bag at the entrance and then we went into the casino. We sneaked out thru the sign door and off we went to go sigh-seeing. Hehehe…. It was a great idea. Lighten my load. Now, I’m a member of Las Vegas casino even.

Day 6 and Day 8 X’mas Delight – Bratislava in Slovakia

To my surprise I could go from one countries to another without having my passport checked or stamped. I was so … upset… Initially I thot cool. I could have a collection of all countries border stamped on my new passport. Who noes! Not even a check-point when i was crossing from Austria to Slovakia. Disappointed. Later then I came to know that all EU countires can travel freely as long as stay within the 90days grant. Haiz…. 1st disappointment.
2nd disappointment! What an old and boring capital. I stepped foot on the famous Danube river on my 1st day. Was rather disappointed. Althot nice scenary but was destroyed by the UFO. UFO as what the people called it, Nový most bridge. It was an impressive bridge but the surrounding was all old old houses or farm. Not much places to wander except for the old town. A lot of hidden sculpture for you to discover. I even spend some time to climb up the landmark, Bratislava Castle. It was one of the most prominent structures in the city. From the castle you could see the whole scenary of Danube river in Slovakia.

Day 3 – Day 5 X’mas Delight – Wien in Austria

The train that I took cause me almost 4 hours sitting quietly and admiring the scenery before I arrived at the destination. 1st time I sat in a train that took me into the mountain and across many hill and river. Now I know why there is this song of “She’ll be cuming roung the mountain”. Exactly the same thot I had when sitting in the train.
Arrived in Wien or rather commonly known as Vienna with much excitement. Heard and read a lot about this Austria capital. Musical and Artistic Town with many impressive building and memories. From the rathaus to MuseumQuatier to Parliament Haus to all the museum and finally the Prater. It was really cool… I simply love the museum. Their favourite empress, Sissi… I now had so much admire for her. She is the one and only empress in Austria or rather I would say in Europe that had an attitude of her own. Visited some castles becoz of Sissi that became so famous. When to their church and wow… I somehow wondered how can the past actually left behind so much detailed for the future to admired and study.

Day 1 and 2 X'mas Delight - Klagenfurt in Austria

Woke up at 5am to catch the 1st train to Berlin for my flight. It was still snowing so i had to put on all my gear and brave thru the snow to reach Wismar Bahnhof. It took me longer time to reached there as the path was covered with thick snow.
Managed to get on the train but the train was late to departure. So i was late to catch the exchange route to Berlin Tegal airport. Thanks to my brain and my berlin train route on hand. I quickly took another route to get to the airport, this route i had to walk and change bus. But still i managed to reached the airport on time. Again, due to the heavy snow the plane had to be delayed for an hour. Gosh... i was rushing like mad on the 1st day of my vacation trip.

Finally i reached my 1st destination in the afternoon. KlAGENFURT. It was really cold there, -10 degree. I was shivering and trying to find my location of CS. The local was rather helpful. To my surprise, most of them could speak english. Whereas the youngster in germany dont like to speak english at all. Hmmm... Without much difficulties the CS place was really so close to the old town area. Just located directly behind the one and only shopping mall there.

My CS host was a doctor. She had really nice and cosy house. She was very friendly and helpful. I was given the study room. As she had to be on duty in the afternoon, i was given a set of keys of her house myself. So that i could have my own arrangement. She pointed out the town highlight and suggested to me where i should visit. I was roaming thru the old town inner court and churches. It was so beautiful and classic.

Initially my plan was to visit Burg Hochosterwitz as well. But due to heavy snow, i had to give up the idea of going. It was mention as one of the most impressive medieval castles in Austria. I can't possibly climb up the hill to reach the castle when i can't even see the stairs. It was all covered with snow and plus the cold cold weather i totally give up the idea.
Still i went to the Wothersee. It was suppose to be a very nice lake but it was all frozen. Too bad, i missed quite a few nice sight at Klagenfurt.

Last but not the least, it is a definite place to visit. "Landemuseum" There was quite a few exhibition on display. I loved the chocolate exhibition best. I even get to taste different range of chocolate and the process of how chocolate was made. Lovely and Tasty.

My bro woke me up in my dream thru skype. I was like grhhh.... it was 2pm in spore but about 9am in germany. I was still sleeping lar.... no early class mah. Luckily it was of good reason. I saw baby kaden crawling on the floor. He can do 360degree turn on his tummy. I was so happy to see baby kaden. He is so so adorable. Everyone at home was treating him like a prince... everyone taking turn to play and cuddle him. How i wish i was there as well. But better than nothing i can still see him live on my laptop.
Really thanks to the technology we had now... no more expensive oversea telephone bill and yet we can see each other face to face online.

Braving thru the snow (coz it was snowing this afternoon) i made my way there, freezing and shivering of coz. When i saw the parcel i was like... OMG... i was really very happy. Eyes was not feeling that good. Dry! Maybe it is the result after the combination of long hours looking at my laptop screen plus the weather is cold and dry here. Bought a 7euro eye drop… so expensive… but no choice…

So many things to do for this whole week. Forcing myself to try and complete all asap, maybe even before I go off on my vacation. There will be more travel ling to do next year. Booked my trip to Frankfurt and Milan just yesterday. Going to fly off from Frankfurt to Milan in April for the Furniture design fair there.

Felt cheated…. Light and symbol elective was not what was introduced when the course started. Every course as given a briefing of the outline and workload . But now, there was an increasing workload and tons of things to do for light & symbol. It is also clashing with other presentation. Gosh…
Everyone was nagging or complaining about the additional load of work to be done. It was not as what was describe in the outline. Totally different. Hate it..

Didnt sleep well for the past few days. A lot of things to be done. And to make things worst i was still doing a job for boss in spore, making my time schedule even more stressed out..

Lighties Chinese Party Night out

Gosh... was realli tired now. Just came back... 2am in the morning. This was my 1st night out party since i've arrived in Germany. Went over to Haus 25 for the party. Lighties Chinese Party Night out. We, chinese students prepared out traditional chinese food... Jiao Zhi... Now i noe how to make the dough, skin and the filling. Will do it for daddy and mummy when i get back to spore. Hehehe...
After our delicious meal, we had wine of coz... It is something that shouldnt be missed out. I drank a bit as usual but not drunk of course. We played "who is the killer" so funni and some other games. From 6pm the dinner started till 2am... gosh.. had so much fun..

Now i noe i'm not suitable to eat beef at all... Had tried beef for a couple of times, but in the end... end up having diarrhea after taking beef...
Now i now, i will cut down on eating beef unless no choice.

Lighties Public Presentation at St. Nikolai Church

12am.... final reached my dorm. My mood was still swinging in the cold cold weather outside. Had our Public presentation for "My Lumiaire" at St. Nikolai church just now. We had many interaction with the local resident. After the grand opening at the altar, we were all invited to the prayer room to had our interaction with the public. This is what i would never get while studying in Spore. We, as student was place sitting in front to face the public. And on top, we had to answer their queries about our design and somehow i would say to defend our idea against their belief. One german guy was like asking about why we had the intention to use colous in our design. Initially, i had no intention of speaking up, but thanks to my dear classmates. Everyone was like.. Ting, ting... that's your question!
OMG! Okie, no choice, i was forced to speak up using the mike. But thinking back, i was not at all panicking, instead i was answering quite well. I think... the prof was staring at me all the way. but still i perform well... Well done... to me...

Super cold today

Today was really super cold... It didnt snow but still i feel worse than it was snowing. As usual, had check the temperature before i go to school. In the morning, the temperature was only 0.1 degree. OMG. Immediately i put on my full gear. Wore my long john inside, long sleeve shirt, one jacket and my thick coat before i left my dorm. had my gloves and hat ready as well. Still i was shivering on the way..
As the weather was too cold, i decide to pamper myself... I made soup to go with my meal. Yummy... add a lot of nice and delicious ingredient... hehehe....

MidTerm Presentation

Finally, the mid term presentation for Design Project 01 is over. The result was rather satisfying... a lot of work was presented by still there is always room for improvement. Will work harder for my final Presentation.

But i was rather disappointed with Andreas grp Presentation. Is my expectation too high as usual. Andreas was rather prof.. he was in the lighting industries for couple of year so he had some experience. But the work he presentation today was rather disappointing. I expect to see better work qualities. Hmm... maybe i shld..... learn from the mistake and remind myself not to repeat their mistake....

Sucks, internet connection is giving me hell lots of problem in my dorm. Cant find the information as and when i like. Praying hard that the connection issue willb e resolve soon.

How cum ya... suddenly got so many fren by the name of Shawn popping out of nowhere.
Strange and weird... Tomorrow having my midterm presentation for Airrail. Preparation is still going on.. didnt feel any stressed at all. Instead, i was feeling kind of lazy and relax mood. Might be due to the cooling weather.
Time passes real fast in germany. The day was bright at about 8am and dark at 3.30pm... day is so short and night is to long...

Just came back from the hotpot session… didn’t eat much. We had Vietnamese style.. very spicy and sour. Didn’t really like the soup base. Rush to the toilet after my meal, just as i expected. Guess it was because of the spiciness and sourness. But we had a good time chatting and laughing ard.

Thank-Giving dinner

Just came back from my 1st Thank-Giving dinner. International dishes we had. Chat, crack jokes, exchange thots and even secrets. Tried several dishes which I’ve never seen before, some taste funny… but still I like the glut wine best. Glut wine is a type of typical german x’mas wine, it had to be drink piping hot. Real hot and it taste delicious. I drank so much; luckily there wasn’t much percentage of alcohol. So I was still sober.. Cool…

There was like this break-off virus in our batch. I just came to know there were already 4 couples that break-off with their partner in their home town. I was shocked. Everyone was here for only less than 3 months and so many things happened. When they came over, they were still happily chatting about their relationships. But now sad to say that things is happening this way. It is so difficult to maintain long distance relationship?

Happened several times, i expect my grp members to be more independent and complete the task by themselves instead of being late and keep on waiting. In the end, i wasted my time doing nothing except waiting and waiting.
Just a simple task and yet cant make their own decision. Really pissed me off. If they want to book consultation time then go ahead. If not dun bother. It seem that everything they do they have to ask, ask and ask. Trying to test my temper only.

Neuruppin - November 09

Day 1 – Neuruppin
After 2 hours journey down southeast of Germany, we had reached Neuruppin. We are doing our small project here in the famous attraction of the town.
My impression of Neuruppin.. weather was cold… beautiful lake… quiet and peaceful town. We first started with a simple city tour… well… it was quite pleasure to walk down the street. We went to the destination of where we had to be going for the next couple of days; Temple Garden. It was a small garden but with many sculpture and statue of the famous people in Neuruppin left down from past history.
Dinner was served at a restaurant in temple garden. Had beef for the 1st time. I had no choice but to eat the food. The food was standard… nobody can be picky about it as accommodation and food was free and included for this small project. Traditional german food. Had to behavelike the german.
After the food, we went to tour the temple garden for the night view so we can be prepared about how we are planning with the lighting effect. Spooky and creepy… not a single lamp was lighted. It was so dark inside this garden. We had to walk so slowly and watching our steps. I was commenting that with the wind blowing, the botak tree branches (due to winter the leaves all fallen) it was exactly like a typical western horror movie…

Day 2 and Day 3 – Neuruppin
We started working in the temple garden from 1pm till midnite after 1am then we return to our dorm. It was raining and we were all freezing. Still we have to work.. gosh… we were all like slaves. It was really hardwork. We were all drenched, tired, cold and starving.

Day 4 – Neuruppin
Finally is the showdown. We went to the park really earli to make sure that things were in place and getting ready for the public. God really heard all our prayers, it went on smoothly till eveing. TO my surprise, there was a long queue of public waiting to get into this garden. Everyone was shocked at their present. It was really touching. After three days of preparation, we can exhibit our work and the public were really amazed by the result. There was a couple of hiccups… half way thru the whole garden got into total darkness. I couldn’t even see my own finger let say even walking a few steps. The power fuse was overloaded and for almost half an hour, there was no light and we were like all going like mad running ard to solve the problem. Luckily we managed to powerup the fuse and things went back to normal again. Everyone stayed till after midnight to clear all stuff. We were like really super terribly dying to go back and rest.

Day 5 – Neuruppin
All were over, I was really glad to be cuming back to Wismar. To my own small whole. Everybody went early to studio for our last briefing. The prof showed us the local newspaper, we were all on the news. Our works received remarkable great positive comments. Everyone were giving us thumb up for all the effort we made and we created a night of pleasure for the local. Great job… so all the really hard work was worth it.

Didn’t sleep well at all… Stupid me, I washed my blanket cover yesterday noon as I was thinking that since I will be away to neuruppin for a week. I might as well wash the cover up and make use of the week to let it dry. But I was wrong. I was freezing last night. In the middle of the nite, I have to get up and dig up my sweater to cover myself before I can rest. But still I didn’t enjoy resting at all.
Early morning, the postman call me up and said he will be delivering my parcel. So I was glad that I didn’t have class in early morning and I wont missed my parcel. Who’s noe. I waited and waited and finally I gave him a call. He told me he will be sending at 11am which I had my presentation. Had to get my german fren to call him back and ask him to send between 12 to 1pm. Which means, during lunch break I had to rush back to my dorm to wait for the parcel. Finally, I’ve received my parcel. Cool! Didn’t waste my rushing journey back to get my parcel… So many goodies inside, I was like a kiddo. When I open the box I was like digging for gold.
Thanks to everyone back home who had contributed to my parcel…….

Back from my heavy dinner. Had dinner at Paula's place today.. I cooked Bak Kut Teh and Heng's cooked japanese curry... Yummy! I can start my own cooking bz liao... hahaha....
Was busy doing Light & Symbol rendering. Cool... now i had even in-depth knowledge on this software... after this rd of trial i will move on to using relux and see how good it is...

Paula talked to me just now, she wanted to share the room with me.. she said she wanted to stay with close fren and not by herself. She was suggesting either she share the room with me or i can moved downstair to stay with her as her room was 4x bigger than mine. We can have partition and share the rental together. In that case, the rental i'll be paying will be about 40% lesser than what i'm paying now.
After some consideration, i guess i will still reject her offer. I kinda wanted some privacy of my own and i dun realli wan to stay with anione at this moment. It will be so inconvenience...althot i can save up on the rental but still there are many complicated things involve of sharing the room with anione here. I kinda like my own space and i'm used to it already so i can only say thank you for the offer and no-thank to the room sharing....

Just finished my 1st presentation of AM this morning. 15 minutes presentation for individual... Culture Shock of own country.. Can never imagine myself sitting in front of the PC to read article and facts. Completed my presentation and report in a total of 15 hours. Long journey... but it was rewarding. As a singaporean, i should have know all its history by long ago but now i really have the chance to read carefully and summaries all things. I can even answer you its history now... hahaha...
Knew a lot about china, usa, thai and the kiwis (NZ) culture. Cool! I'm loving this courses day by day..

Tired, tired and tired… no other words can describe me now… so many 1st time for today..
Just finished the presentation for my lumiaire at St. Nikolai Church… it was bloody hell cold and raining outside… I was really shivering when doing my presentation. Everyone else was also… there was no heater inside the church and it was so dark and creepy… dark because nightfall by the time of 4pm and creepy was becoz we were all stepping on the crypt of ancient heroes who were bombed in Wismar when walking around… I dun like the feeling the church had given me especially during night time…
Fell down of my bike when coming back to my dorm. Didn’t get hurt but mud stained on my jeans. Luckily tomolo got no class but had consultation time with the professor and I ned to prepare for my presentation on Thursday.

Tired... just came back from my english class... skip my german class again... i dun wanna learn about vater and mutter again... so boring.
Woke up earli today to went to the immigration office, going to get my new visa on the 26th november... waiting period again.

Had to complete my lumiaire and the poster by today. I would say both were 90% done, just ned some touch-up. Tomolo going to be another super stressed up day. Had to go to the church to set up and printing of all my material and submission.

Was listening to Olivia Ong Bossa nova album lately. I love her voice.. great to listen at late night. The sky is dark again. Heard from tae that it will be snowing tomolo again. Praying hard it wont as i'll have to carry my things to the church for the PM presentation.

Berlin Day 1:
Took the early train to Berlin, upon reaching Berlin we head straight to the hostel to put our luggage. Then off we went with a group of 8 people to the Museum Island. I did some research before going, so I plan to spend my whole day at the island. I chose the combi tixs which cost me 6.50euro for entering 5 different museum together. In just 6 hours I explored 5 museum and the famous Beliner DOM.
I love the Pergamon Museum best. The moment I entered their main hall.. I was like… OMG! I was strike by their collection. I felt that I had entered into another world.. EGYPT… the Pergamon Altar was really so grand and impressive. The whole place came alive to me.
But I was amazed by another artwork or rather painting at the Alte Nationalgalerie. “Die Erfindung der Malerei” painted by Eduard Daege (1805 – 1883, German) I can never imagine myself standing in front of an artwork for almost half an hour just to admire a painting. And I actually did! From the details to the paint lines… I really salute the painter. It was so detailed and every shadow and corner were so attractive to me…

Was thinking somehow, how can the people from history create such impressive or rather amazing artworks. From sculptures…. Painting…. Collections to architect building…. All were so beautifully done….

Berlin Day 2:
Went to the famous Berlin zoo… before I went I really wanted to go there… had been telling my fren that I must went to the zoo… it was so famous and was consider as one of the largest and oldest zoo in Europe. But…. I was so so so disappointed… the zoo was not that big actually. Althought I saw many animals which will never be seen in spore but still I was really disappointed. It wasn’t that impressive for me plus it was drizzling since morning so I didn’t really enjoy my morning trip to the zoo..
After the zoo… I told my fren that I wanna go wander around on my own so i parted with them. With just a map of berlin and my lousy german I really went exploring this city on my own. With my own plans and timing I managed to travel around with much pleasure…

Berlin Day 3 to 5:
PLDC started. With a 3 days full congress, I made fully used of the time I had. I attended those seminar I was interested in and I was like running from level 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 just to make sure I didn’t missed the timing for the topics. I love this round of congress. Learned and seen a lot presentation. The Vox Juventa left me a really deep impression. Both thumb up for them…
I also met several supplier which some I was rather familiar with their brands. To my surprise, there was a spore company this time round. The boss, Andy Lai had a lighting company in Kaki Bukit. He was talking to me non-stop and was rather interested that I went back to spore for my intern next year. Well… I wont consider him at all.. the work he had produced so far didn’t catches or rather have any impact on me. And my intern goal is not situated in Spore. I’ve made my own plan for my intern actually but still I just bullshit along with him. He even introduces his so called lawyer partner to me. But too bad.. I was not interested with both of them.

Just talked to Baby Bunbun earlier on... He had grown up so much. Looking so different every time i see him. Cannot sit still one. So cheeky... before he cry he will act act 1st..

Had researched on LS topics and made some notes for myself. Feeling kind of tired so i decided to stopped for a while and plan my route for Berlin. The congress will be starting on Thursday till Saturday so i'll have three days of free time. Upon arrival in Berlin on Tuesday,

Day 1: check-in, then i will proceed on to Museum island and spend my whole day there...

Day 2: Berlin Zoo... Kaiser-Wilhelm-Memorial Church and Victory Column

Drew up my blinds this morning and got a real shocked. OMG! I seem to be in fairyland already. I cant see the road clearly at all. The surrounding was covered with dun noe wat! Hazy (there was a big fire at the hafen yesterday), or is it ?????

Cuong's Maggi mee

Went over to Cuong's place for his Vietnamese's maggi mee... realli hot and spicy.. Got chocked on the 1st mouth. But as the weather was realli cold, it was super nice to eat something that was really spicy and hot.
Cuong = a Vietnamese guy who had lived in Germany for over 15 years. He is studying in WIsmar as well but in the architect faculty.

Just received a call from Spore. Got a shocked! CY called me from spore. He even lied to me that he was in Frankfurt... make me happy for nothing.....hahaha...
We had a short chat as usual... miss having lunch with him. He would always treat me to posh and delicious meals... yummy!
He is having some major issue with ION as usual lar.. Bless that he will get thru this peroid peacefulli.
He is like superman now. Flying from Spore, Hk and china... Hmm... must ask him for help if i intent to plan my intern there liao....
He's always the man behind supporting me...
