Planning to Berlin

Just talked to Baby Bunbun earlier on... He had grown up so much. Looking so different every time i see him. Cannot sit still one. So cheeky... before he cry he will act act 1st..

Had researched on LS topics and made some notes for myself. Feeling kind of tired so i decided to stopped for a while and plan my route for Berlin. The congress will be starting on Thursday till Saturday so i'll have three days of free time. Upon arrival in Berlin on Tuesday,

Day 1: check-in, then i will proceed on to Museum island and spend my whole day there...

Day 2: Berlin Zoo... Kaiser-Wilhelm-Memorial Church and Victory Column

Am i in fairyland?

Drew up my blinds this morning and got a real shocked. OMG! I seem to be in fairyland already. I cant see the road clearly at all. The surrounding was covered with dun noe wat! Hazy (there was a big fire at the hafen yesterday), or is it ?????

Cuong's Maggi mee

Went over to Cuong's place for his Vietnamese's maggi mee... realli hot and spicy.. Got chocked on the 1st mouth. But as the weather was realli cold, it was super nice to eat something that was really spicy and hot.
Cuong = a Vietnamese guy who had lived in Germany for over 15 years. He is studying in WIsmar as well but in the architect faculty.

CY surprise call.....

Just received a call from Spore. Got a shocked! CY called me from spore. He even lied to me that he was in Frankfurt... make me happy for nothing.....hahaha...
We had a short chat as usual... miss having lunch with him. He would always treat me to posh and delicious meals... yummy!
He is having some major issue with ION as usual lar.. Bless that he will get thru this peroid peacefulli.
He is like superman now. Flying from Spore, Hk and china... Hmm... must ask him for help if i intent to plan my intern there liao....
He's always the man behind supporting me...

Done... had just booked my flight tix for xmas...

My winter vacation planning:
21 to 22 dec - Klagenfurt, Austria
23 to 26 dec - Vienna, Austria
27 to 28 dec - Bratislava, Hungary
28 to 30 dec - Budapest, Hungary

I will be backpacking alone so i will be giving myself ample time to tour the cities. Cool... looking so forward to visit the xmas market in vienna... going to be fully amazed i guess....

Falling Sleet

Had been raining the whole of last night... the weather was really cold. I was glad that this morning when i woke up the rain stopped. After breakfast, i rode my newly bike to school. Who noe halfway the route, the sky turned dark and sleet started to fall. I was freezing. So i fasten my way and it hurt so much. As i cycled too fast, the sleet keep come smashing on my face. So painful. The first time in my life i came face to face with sleet. Got a real shocked. But it was realli nice to see falling sleet in front of me. But i still cant stand the cold weather. Now my cap and gloves are out of the cupboard. Need to bring them to school everyday just in case.
When i first came over, the sky gets dark onli at 8pm but now 6pm the sky is totalli dark already. Heard that in about two more weeks time, there will be no more sunshine. The sky will be dark and gloomy. Weather will be even worse, it could even snow at times.

My Bike... finalli

Finalli got my bike today, after waiting for one and half month... Went to town just now, 1st time i cycled there. Was rather tired, a great different when walking or cycling to town. By bike, it save me a lot of time but was even more tired when walking. Hmm... but not bad actualli.
Some of my calssmates went mensa to have their lunch, i was not so keen. Reason as usual, i find it too expensive and the food is too salty. So i came back and dish up a simple meal. Hehehe.... Yummy! Finished everything inside the bowl..

Bremen Trip!

Went to Bremen yesterday. It was a busy city in northwestern Germany. Woke up at 5am in the morning to catch the train and bus. The train construction from Bad Kleinen to Wismar was under service so we had to take the bus to Bad Kleinen and change 3 trains to reach our destination, Bremen. Was a rather long journey thou. Almost 4 hours of journey.
The whole day was drizzling, and the lowest temperature was 6 degree in the afternoon… Super cold and inconvenience. Due to the cold weather and my future stay in Wismar, bought myself a thick jacket. A very expensive one, it cost me 59euro… Took me an hour to decide whether to buy it or not. At least I felt warm in the coat. Spend quite a lot in just one day… for the coming week I ned to tighten my belt liao…..
I didn’t visit any museum there as none of it interest me. I only went to some of their famous churches there. The building was really so much into Gothic style. Cool…. I kinda like their glass window panel of the churches.
I also saw the Town Musicians bronze sculpture. It is a very famous Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale, which portrays the donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster.

Weather... going into winter now...

Just fork out about 150euro for PLDC congress in berlin at end of the month... it will be another 5 days 4 night trip to Berlin. Cool.... will have to sit in the congress for three whole day.. Looking forward to this trip... can tour around Berlin again...

Have been cooking in my dorm quite often. I dun realli like the food at mensa (Canteen). The food are so salty, not realli suit my tongue...
Cook some spagetti yesterday for lunch. Ting's receipts: potatoes, meat, vegetable and of course spagetti... Yummy....
Finalli had my 1st packet of maggi mee this afternoon... was not feeling that well today... can sense that the weather is changing already.
It can be sunny and yet windy and raining the next seconds. Luckily after drinking the hot soup and had my maggi i was better again. Temperature outside now is 9 degree... the sun is onli up at 8am in the morning and down at about 6.30pm... so different from what i just came to germany. I heard that in another 2 more weeks time. there might not even be sunshine animore.. the weather will be very gloomy and cold.... by earli november the winter season will start and i'll be a penguin again. Wrapping myself all up...

Venue: Lighting Studio NOW!

Am updating my blog now in the lighting studio. Hehehe... was having my WPM class of Lighting, a symbol of Identity now... I was sitting at the corner of the room so i can be a bit mischevious lar...

It seem that my work are all overloading. I took up almost all WPM classes and guess i ned to slightly adjust my schedule to make work more efficient.

I was still tinking about my Berlin trip over last weekend. A wonderful and rewarding trip. Learnt a lot about the history of Germany... reminds me of my secondary sch history textbook. Memories flashes back once in a while.
End of October, my whole class will still be visting Berlin again. We had sign up
to attend the PLDC in Berlin. If remember correctly, we ned to stay in Berlin for at least 5 days 4 nites. Hmm... will plan my revisit to Museum Island and maybe the zoo if time allows.

Brazilian Guy... wat the F***.

Tired… really tired after my 2 days and 1 night trip to Berlin….
I had not slept for the past 40 hours… why? Met a small hiccup at the hostel we were staying in last night. We had booked a mixed dorm of 8 beds. We had 5 girls in the room, and the rest were like dun noe who. After our bath in the hostel, when we came back to our room. A guy who claim he was from Brazil was staying with us in the room. As we tot we had 5 girls so we could help one another out in case if things happen. Who noe… this “mentally unstable” guy wanted to chat wif us.. okie.. as hostel mates we did had some talk with him and he got really bold and ask if we had ever try kissing Brazilian guy before… What the F***… we did bother him much and continue with our girls conversation with Chinese. (Luckily our girls common language can be in Chinese) Guess he was annoyed by us for treating him transparent and he actually say he wanted to try kisses from girls of other country… Singapore and China.. which made me feel like slapping him. So we quickly made our bed and off to bed… I guess as natural instinct I didn’t sleep thru out the whole nite… Any little noise I heard or movement I sense I would be up immediately… I even noe a guy joined us in the room at 5am and that Brazilian guy left the room and checked out at 7am… Before that Brazilian guy left the room, he was standing in the room and watching us sleep. I guess he didn’t noe whatever he was doing was being monitored by me.. Hahaha… better to play safe then regret…
Well, lesson learnt. Better to book a female dorm room rather than save up a bit of money. But overall the hostel was really cool apart from the sleepless nite…..
